Leaving the snowy backdrop of the Wood River Valley for the neon lights of Nevada is always a bit of a shock to the system, but last year’s trip was strictly business. In February 2025, the Ketchum Window Cleaning team headed down to Las Vegas for the International Window Cleaning Association (IWCA) Convention & Trade Show at the Golden Nugget.

Bringing together the best in the business for three days of high-octane education, networking, and cutting-edge gear, it was an incredible opportunity to stay at the forefront of our industry. Looking back, here is what made the Vegas convention such a milestone for our team and the trade as a whole.

Exploring the Trade Show Floor

The energy on the convention floor was electric. It was packed with vendors showcasing the next generation of water-fed poles, specialized chemicals, and classic squeegee tech. For us, staying updated on the latest professional equipment is a top priority, and Vegas did not disappoint.

  • Sörbo's Big Drops: Sörbo Products Inc. had one of the loudest booths of the week, dropping new additions to their international squeegee collection.

  • Hands-On Practice: It wasn't just about looking at equipment on a wall. We were able to get hands-on practice, testing the glide and ergonomics of massive new squeegees before bringing them into the field.

Doubling Down on Safety and Standards

You can’t deliver top-tier results without top-tier safety practices. A major focus for us at the convention was participating in the classroom discussions surrounding ANSI/IWCA standards and the rapidly expanding world of solar cleaning.

Immersing ourselves in the latest safety protocols and industry-specific certifications ensures that when we are up on a ladder or navigating a complex residential property back in Idaho, we are operating at the absolute highest professional standard.

Building Community & Bringing Innovation Back Home

Beyond the gear and the classroom, the core of the IWCA convention is the community. The networking didn't stop when the trade show doors closed; conversations about best practices and new techniques spilled over into the local venues, giving us the chance to catch up and talk shop with industry friends.

Grateful for the IWCA

At the end of the day, Ketchum Window Cleaning is incredibly grateful for the IWCA. Their relentless dedication to advancing our trade, establishing rigorous safety guidelines, and hosting world-class events like the 2025 convention is what elevates the entire window cleaning community. Without their advocacy and educational resources, our industry simply wouldn't be where it is today.

Attending these events is how we ensure that our team continues to bring world-class techniques, top-of-the-line equipment, and rigorous safety standards back home to our clients in Ketchum, Sun Valley and Hailey.

We don't just wash windows; we constantly hone our craft so you can Experience The Difference.
